Yvonne L. McCord was born December 18, 1938, to Doil and Zadie McCord, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She passed from this life at the age of sixty-three in the Meridian Nursing Home on August 17, 2002.

Survivors include: three brothers - Kenneth and Fred McCord of Comanche, OK, and Jim McCord of Poteau, OK.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Doil and Zadie McCord, and one brother, Bill McCord.

Graveside services were held for Ms. McCord at 2:00 PM, Monday, August 19, 2002, at the Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche with Mike McCord officiating. Burial was under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Comanche.
