Jean was born December 5, 1932 in Clemscot, Oklahoma to C.R. Hart and Ida Carol Ballew. She passed from this life on December 23, 2008 at the Vernon Care Center at the age of seventy-six. She married Gerald K. Garison May 16, 1947 in Marietta, Texas. She worked for thirty - three years in the medical field. She loved fishing, especially at the Flaming Gorge, she loved to crochet and do embroidering. She also loved to sing and spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald K. Garison of Vernon, Texas; three children - Mr. and Mrs. Ron Garison of Green River, Wyoming, Ken Garison of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Charlotte Wilson of Hooper, Utah. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father C.R. Hart, mother - Carolyn Butler, stepfather - J.O.Butler, grandson Charlie Richard Wilcox and great granddaughter Britney Riely.
Funeral services will be Monday, December 29, 2008 at 2:00PM at the Dudley Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Plant officiating. Burial will be in the Hastings Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday from 1-5PM and Monday from 9AM to service time.
