William (Bill) Calvin Neasbitt
William (Bill) Calvin Neasbitt, 68, of Waurika, Oklahoma, passed from this life August 23, 2014, in Waurika. He was born July 20, 1946, in Rome, New York, to William and Mildred (Terrier) Neasbitt. He married Patarena Mae Davis in Rome, New York, on October 26, 1965. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam from 1964 to 1968.
Bill completed his GED in 1983 in Waurika. He was a welder and did mechanical work for Shelby's Manufacturing for twenty years. He was a truck driver and worked for Elliott's and Jefferson County. He was a member of the VFW and collected cars and guns.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Mildred Neasbitt, daughters Cinda Lee and Sandra Mildred, grandson William Michael and sisters Margaret Stinson and Donna Mae Taylor.
Survivors include: his wife Patarena of the home in Waurika, OK; son Richard Neasbitt; daughters Margaret Wilkerson, Patarena Neasbitt and Annette Stotler; brother Nute Neasbitt and his wife Karlotta; fifteen grandchildren - LaChasley, Jacquelyn, Crystal, Alexis, Amber, KaSandra, Jonathan, William Michael, Dakota, Conrad, Landen, Arron, MaKenzie, David, and Daniel; and two great-grandchildren Braden and Bentley.
Funeral services for Mr. Neasbitt will be at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at the Cowboy Church in Waurika with Bob Waitman officiating. Burial will be in the Providence Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika from 12:00 noon to 7:00 PM, Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Brandon Sandfur, Wade Durbin, Rocky Shockley, Chad Durbin, and Derrick Durbin.
