Wanda Louise Montgomery passed away July 13, 2005, at the Duncan Regional Hospital with her family at her side. She was born Wanda Louise Christopher February 8, 1926, in Oklahoma. She married J.C. Montgomery in Duncan, Oklahoma, December 28, 1946. They farmed and ranched in the Corum, Oklahoma area since 1956, where she was his right hand man and the love of his life. She was a member of the Corum Baptist Church for many years.

Survivors include: three children - Joetta and Jimmy Ledord of Corum, OK, Randy and Karin Montgomery of Corum, OK, and David and Lee Montgomery of Ardmore, OK; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers - Dick and his wife Beverly Christopher of Houma, LA, Ray Christopher of Ft. Worth, TX, and Dee and his wife Dorothy Christoper of San Antonio, TX; two sister-in-law - Norma Chistopher and Marjorie Pinnell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, Dewey and Ruth Christopher of Ringling, OK, two brothers - Willis Chrisopher of Yucaipia, CA, and Bob Christopher of Healdton, OK.

Funeral services for Mrs. Montgomery were at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 15, 2005, at the Corum Baptist Church with Bruce Humphries officiating. Burial was in the Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche, Oklahoma under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Comanche. Pallbearers were Jarrod Ralls, Chad Ralls, Chris Craven, Dayne Ledford, Justin Montgomery, and Kesto Simpson.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Corum Baptist Church Building Fund in memory of Wanda Montgomery.
