Tommy Franklin Moore, Sr., passed from this life Thursday, January 30, 2003, in Westbrook Nursing Home at the age of sixty-eight. He was born February 28, 1934, to Meda Moore and Mary Floella Conway, in Fleetwood, Oklahoma. Mr. Moore owned and operated concession stands locally and at various occasions. He and Loretta Robertson were united in marriage on June 25, 1954, in Waurika, Oklahoma. He was deacon of the First Baptist Church in Ryan, Oklahoma.
Survivors include: his wife, Loretta, of the home in Ryan, OK; one son - Tommy Moore, Jr. of Wichita Falls, TX; two daughters - Dianne and her husband Ronnie Williams of Ryan, OK, and Melonia Alexander of Ryan, OK; one sister - Retha Elms of Ft. Worth, TX; five grandchildren - Traci and Billy Clem, Amanda and Kennen Fleming, Sasha Moore, Falon Alexander, and Sean Alexander; and three great-grandchildren - Kaden Fleming, Jacie and Harli Clem.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Meda and Mary Moore, and one son, Kerry Brent Moore.
Funeral services for Mr. Moore were at 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 2, 2003, at the Ryan First Baptist Church with Ronnie Lawson and Randy Allen officiating. Burial was in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Ryan.
