C.E. Tiner Bohot

C. E. "Tiner" Bohot was born March 17, 1928 in Oklahoma City to Gustav and Laura Hearn Bohot. Tiner passed from this life December 9, 2009 in Oklahoma City at the age of eighty-one years young. He and Bobbie Floretta Holman were married December 29, 1945 in Henrietta, Texas. She preceded him in death on July 15, 2006. He and Doris Harris Hunt were married September 28, 2008. Tiner was a farmer and rancher and owned and operated Bohot Pecans. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Hastings Baptist Church. Tiner enjoyed life and lived every day to the fullest. Tiner was very active in the Hastings and Waurika Communities, he never met a stranger and will be missed by all who new him.

Tiner is survived by his wife Doris of the home, his children - Sue Bridges of Hastings, Ronnie Bohot and wife Belinda of Hastings, and Ricky Bohot of Duncan, two sisters - Betty Petty and Rose Harris both of Ada, three stepchildren Dorcha Martin, Kimberly Scott, and Jason Hunt all of Oklahoma City, eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and six stepgrandchildren. Tiner was survived by many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Bobbie, four sisters and six brothers.

Funeral service will be Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Waurika, with Rev. Charles McConnell and Rev. David Hale officiating. Burial will be in the Hastings Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 11 from 9AM-8PM with the family receiving visitors from 5-7PM. Memorials may be made to the Hastings Cemetery Fund.
