Thomas Alfred Hauser, IV passed from this life Tuesday, September 16, 2003, at Westbrook Care Center in Waurika, Oklahoma, at the age of eighty-two. He was born July 16, 1921, to John Edward and Marion Hauser in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was a tractor mechanic for John Deere. Thomas and Rebecca were united in marriage in 1962 in Tucumcari, New Mexico.

Survivors include: his wife Rebecca Hauser of the home in Waurika, OK; two sons - James Hauser of Mesa, AZ, and Thomas A. Hauser, Jr. of Waurika, OK; two daughters - Marion Burris of Duncan, OK, and Lilly Sooner of Anderson, MO; two brothers - John Hauser of Philadelphia, PA, and Frederick Hauser of Philadelphia, PA; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by one brother, Ollie Hauser, and one sister, Katherine Oxenford.

Funeral services for Mr. Hauser were at 1:30 PM, Wednesday, September 17, 2003, at Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika with Rev. Russell Tuck officiating. Burial was in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika.
