Thelma Mae Mullendore passed from this life on Wednesday, February 13, 2002, at the age of 84, in the Ryan Nursing Home. She was born April 14, 1917, to James A. Ferguson and Mabel Campbell Ferguson in Perry, Oklahoma. Thelma grew up in Stillwater and graduated from Stillwater High School. She also attended Oklahoma State University. She and Fred Mullendore were married in 1940 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Fred preceded her in death in 1963. She was affiliated with many civic organizations in Stillwater, including Eastern Star.

Survivors include: one sister - Eileen Ferguson Johnson of Ryan, OK; one nephew - Terry Johnson of Ryan, OK; two daughters - Karen Kay Mullendore and Janet Eileen Mullendore Key.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mullendore were at 10:00 AM, Friday, February 15, 2002, at the Ryan United Methodist Church with Steve Harshaw officiating. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Stillwater at 3:00 PM, February 15, 2002, under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Ryan.
