Sybil Inez Gunter, of Terral, Oklahoma, passed from this life December 16, 2001, at the age of 86. Ms. Gunter was born to William Thomas and Nettie Virginia Gunter on November 1, 1915, in Bowie, Texas.

Ms. Gunter was a nurse's aide for the Ryan and Meridian Nursing Homes and later for the Jefferson County Hospital in Waurika. She was a member of the Terral Assembly of God.

Ms. Gunter is survived by her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, Jesse, Lon, Willie, Roy, Johnny, and Ted Gunter, and two sisters, Florence Gunter and Grace Bussey.

Funeral services were held at the Terral Assembly of God Church, Tuesday, December 18, 2001 with Chalres Parker and Randy Allen officiating. Interment was in Terral Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Terral.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Terral Cemetery Association.
