Sharron Kay “Susie” Carroll Gardner was born July 19, 1946, in Ryan, Oklahoma, to T.D. and Sally Gearldine Timberlake Carroll. Susie passed from this life Saturday, September 2, 2006, at Mercy Memorial Hospital at the age of sixty. Susie and Tom Gardner Jr. were married November 4, 1992, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Susie worked in home health care.

Survivors include: her husband, Tom, of Waurika, OK; her children - Charla Reney Carroll of Waurika, OK, Loyd Nelson of Tennessee, and Shawn Conway of Holladay, TX; and one brother, Burl Thomas Carroll of Waurika, OK.

She was preceded in death by three brothers - Billy Frank Carroll, Ricky Oran Carroll, and Charles Lee Carroll.

Funeral services for Mrs. Gardner were at 1:00 PM, Monday, September 4, 2006, at the First Baptist Church in Waurika with Bro. Gary Burleson officiating. Burial was in the Terral Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika. Memorial contributions may be made to the Nutrition Center in Waurika.
