Susan Ann Standridge Mayes was born February 26, 1961, in Duncan, Oklahoma, to Scotty and Mary Morris Standridge and passed from this life Saturday, November 22, 2003, at her home in Comanche, Oklahoma, at the age of forty-two. Susan and Terry Glen Mayes were united in marriage February 7, 1980, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was a loving mother and Amma.

Survivors include: her husband, Terry, of the home in Comanche, OK; one son, Donald Scott Mayes of Comanche, OK; one daughter, Christy Diane Norton of Comanche, OK; her stepfather, Don Griffith of Comanche, OK; two brothers, John and David Standridge of Comanche, OK; six grandchildren - Briana and Zack Mayes, Dillon Conner, Jade and Aspen Norton, and Alexis Norton; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for Mrs. Mayes were at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, November 25, 2003, at the Ray of Hope Church in Comanche, Oklahoma.
