Steven Wayne Rowe
Steven Wayne Rowe was born May 30, 1962, in Waurika, Oklahoma, to Jerry Lane Rowe and June Lee McManus Rowe. He went to be with Jesus February 17, 2012, after an extended illness. "Our little man" was a trooper and loved life, but most of all he loved his two best friends, his Mom and Dad. He adored his brother Rodney and sister Kristie, and treasured his dog Lexi. Steven loved to fish and shoot pool. He also enjoyed going dancing in his younger years.
Steven survived by his father Jerry and step-mom Barbara of Yukon, OK; his mother June of Oklahoma City, OK; one brother - Rodney and his wife Sandie of Yukon, OK; two sisters - Kristie Wallace of Yukon, OK, and Darla McDowell and her husband Jim of Oklahoma City, OK; nieces and nephews - Cassie Sumner, Lane Rowe and his wife Kim, Megan Rowe, Tara Felts, Kyler Wallace, Corie Wallace, Franchesca McDowell, Duncan McDowell, Max McDowell; great niece Zoey Rowe; and numerous family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Funeral services for Steven will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika with Rev. Jeff McLemore officiating. Pallbearers will be Jerry Rowe, Howie Durham, Rodney Rowe, Kristie Wallace, Lane Rowe, Glen Hobbs, Joe Jacks, Kand Kenny Wall. Honorary pallbearers will be Kyler Wallace, Jodie Rowe, Tony Pewett, Tim Boren, Darrell Thomas, Clint Parhan, Rich Hinkle, Jim McDowell, Duncan McDowell, and Max McDowell. Burial will be in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. The family requests memorials be made to Yukon Animal Clinic, Yukon, Oklahoma.
