Stephen Hoch, PA

Stephen Ernest Hoch, 66, passed from this life February 15, 2015, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was born February 6, 1949, to Ernest and Rosella "Balls" Hoch in Hays, Kansas.
Stephen was a Physicians' Assistant at the Waurika Family Medical Center and the Jefferson County Hospital. He was married to Rebecca Mae Delaney on February 26, 2014, in Waurika, Oklahoma. He completed his masters degree. He was scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts for thirty-three years in Kansas. He was an industrial arts and shop teacher in Ransom, Kansas, prior to becoming a Physicians' Assistant. He loved to work on vehicles and to tinker with "stuff." His passion was woodworking. He loved his family.
Stephen was preceded in death by his father in 2003.
Survivors include: his wife Rebecca, of the home in Waurika, OK; his mother Rosella "Balls" Hoch of Wilson, KS; three children - Christopher Hoch and his wife Christina of Kansas City, MO, Heather Hoch of Fairfax Station, VA, and Anthony Hoch of Lawrence, KS; a brother - Robert "Bob" Hoch of Austin, TX; grandson Nathaniel Hoch; step-children - Christopher Langford and his wife Jannie, Justin Carroll, Kendell Johnson; step-grandchildren - Cayden Langford, Zane Langford, Elizabeth Langford, and Adalyn Langford.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 PM, Thursday, February 19, 2015, at the First Baptist Church in Waurika with Jeff McLemore officiating, under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika. Burial will be in Wilson, Kansas with a graveside service under the direction of Foster Mortuary. Visitation will be at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday afternoon to 8:00 PM with the family in attendance from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and from 9:00 AM to noon on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jefferson County Hospital, the Boy Scouts of America (Troop 139 of Burlington, Kansas), or the charity of your choice.
