Floyd Lee Sonny Harrison was born November 11, 1929, to Willard and Eva Harrison, in Addington, Oklahoma. Sonny passed from this life Sunday, May 16, 2004, at his home in Ryan, Oklahoma. Sonny was a rancher and retired from the Nocona Boot Company. He attended the Church of Christ in Ryan. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Sonny and Clara Mae Fuller Temple were married February 25, 1983, in Henrietta, Texas.

Survivors include: his wife Clara Mae, of the home in Ryan, OK; one son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Michelle Temple of Dallas, TX; two daughters and sons-in-law - Maxine and Bruce Benson of Randlett, OK, and Sherry and Steve Fincher of Bowie, TX; one brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Linda Harrison of Ryan, OK; one sister, Peggy McDaniel of Waurika, OK; five grandchildren - Paul Williams and his wife Brandy, Grady Benson and his wife Summer, Shane Temple, Arelia Temple and her friend Jason; Shandy and her husband Clay Medford; five great-grandchildren - Nicholas Williams, Doc Williams, Lilli Benson, Payton Benson, and Lathen Williams; three nieces; one nephew; and great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Harrison were at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 18, 2004, at the Church of Christ in Ryan with Brent Richardson and Lawrence Lee Lewis officiating. Burial was in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Ryan.
