Sidney J. Stanley was born February 19, 1928, in Dallas, Texas, to Sidney and Agnes Dixie Stanley, and passed from this life Sunday, December 1, 2002, in Duncan, Oklahoma, at the age of seventy-four.

Sidney Stanley and Rosella Dorsett were united in marriage November 24, 1974. No children were born to this union.

During much of his lifetime, Mr. Stanley was self-employed. He also held various positions, some with nationally-known companies where he was associated with many famous people.

Survivors include: his wife, Rosella, of the home in Waurika, and close friends - Jim and Jane Hanratty, Ann Brown and Eddie Couch.

No funeral services were held for Mr. Stanley.
