Sidney Wallace Johnson, 70, passed from this life Friday, November 9, 2007, in Duncan, Oklahoma. He was born July 5, 1937, in Synder, Texas, to Ida Sue and Weldon Johnson. A lifelong rancher, Sidney lived in Kent County before moving to Oklahoma in 2002. He battled cancer twenty-five years and is now at peace and home with the Lord. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include: his wife Sherry Price Johnson, of the home in Addington, OK; his daughter Vicky and her husband L.W. Speed of Plano, TX; his son Clay Johnson and his wife Amy; his step-daughter Becky Bradley; his granddaughters Sarah and Shelby Johnson; his grandsons Chris and Zack Bradley; and a host of friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Johnson will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 11, 2007, at the Addington Baptist Church in Addington, Oklahoma, with Miller Robinson officiating. Burial will be in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika. Visitation will be Saturday at the Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
