Shirley Ann Wilkerson Wheeler
Shirley Ann Wilkerson Wheeler was born January 14, 1960 in Waurika, Oklahoma to Ruby (Berry) and Albert Wilkerson. She passed from this life March 28, 2017 at Lindsay Municipal Hospital at the age of 57.
She managed the Jolly Truck Stop along with many other restaurants and was an aid and cook at the nursing home for many years. She was a member of the Waurika Assembly of God. Shirley had a big heart and was always willing to help anyone. She would give you the shirt off her back. She loved kids and being with her family. She was always very opinionated and outspoken, never afraid to tell you what she thought, always good for a laugh.
She is survived by her brothers - Gene Wilkerson of Medicine Park, Oklahoma, Jerry Wilkerson and wife Donna of Waurika, Oklahoma, Roger Wilkerson of Temple, Oklahoma, Mike Wilkerson and wife Sherri of Waurika, Oklahoma and Bill Prewitt of Waurika, Oklahoma, Sisters - Margie Ball of Duncan, Oklahoma and Patty Bryant of Waurika, Oklahoma, a very special niece Meagan Bryant-Brackett along with many other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Wheeler Jr. , Maternal Grandparents - Jack and Margie Berry, Paternal Grandparents - Theodore and Icye Wilkerson, Father - Albert L. Wilkerson, Sister Linda F. Prewitt and Brother - James Paul Wilkerson.
The family had a private ceremony honoring Shirley.
