Sharon Sue Clark Bergeron passed from this life Monday, August 30, 2004, in Comanche County Hospital, at the age of sixty-nine. She was born February 1, 1935, to Hoyt and Mildred Clark, in Walters, Oklahoma. Mrs. Bergeron worked at the Ryan Nursing Home for twenty-four years. She and Kenneth Bergeron were united in marriage May 29, 1960, in Walters, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Ryan First Baptist Church.

Survivors include: one son - Steve Bergeron and his wife Fran, of Ryan, OK; four daughters - Sheilah Underwood and her husband David, of Ryan, OK, Loretta Allen and her husband Jim, of Huntington, TX, Rebecca King and her husband John, of Tulsa, OK, and Brenda Douglas and her husband Michael of Broken Arrow, OK; one sister - Linda Martin and her husband Duane, of Beaumont, TX; one special cousin - Mickey Clark and his wife Carolyn, of Amarillo, TX; twelve grandchildren - James, Kenneth, Matthew, Vikki, Kristopher, Sharon, Jay, Brandi, Christy, Nicholas, Stephanie, and Joseph; and six great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hoyt and Mildred Clark, her husband Kenneth Bergeron in January of 1980, and her stepfather William Howard Dugan.

Funeral services for Mrs. Bergeron were at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 1, 2004, at the Ryan First Baptist Church, with Bob Waitman and Gary Dempsey officiating. Burial was in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Ryan.
