Samuel Kail Tanner
Samuel Kail Tanner passed from this life Friday, June 3, 2011 at the Westbrook Nursing Home in Waurika at the age of 61. Graveside service will be Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at 1:00PM at the Terral Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home. Family will receive visitors from 6-7PM Monday evening. Sam was born May 9, 1950 in Bowie, Texas. He was a truck driver. He attended Temple and Waurika Schools and then graduated from Terral High School.
He is survived by his mother - Mary (Beldin) Proctor of Waurika, his daughter - Kayla King of Ringling, two granddaughters- Madison Alex King and Rani Brooke King, stepsister - Myrtle Phelps of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, special friends - Kevin Chumley and Terri Sheffield. He is also survived by his dog - Duchess and two cats - mousetrap and 99.
