Gussita Ruth Wesberry

Gussita Ruth (Horton) Wesberry, 77, passed from this life August 18, 2016, at her home in Hendrix, Oklahoma. She was born June 8, 1939, in The Highlands, Texas, to Clarence and Mina (McNiece) Horton. She married James Dennis Wesberry, Sr. on September 8, 1955. He preceded her in death. She married John A. Morgan on June 4, 2005. She was a retired medical terminologist who became a full-time mother and "Nanny" to all her babies. She was a Baptist. Ruth was an honestly beautiful woman of God who has touched the hearts of many. She will be missed daily.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband James Dennis Wesberry, Sr., brothers Floyd and Walter Horton, and her sister Artilla Horton.

Survivors include: her husband John, of the home in Hendrix, OK; her sons James Dennis Wesberry, Jr. of Hendrix, OK, Roy Lynn Wesberry of Davis, OK, and Floyd Wayne Wesberry of Sugden, OK; her daughter Ivy Denise Wesberry of Davis, OK; her stepson Wesley Brown of Stonewall, OK; her brother Charles Horton of Baytown, TX; her sister Emma Vernon of Austin, TX; grandchildren - Boomer, Jimmy, Latisha, Lashanda, Amber, Amy, Ashley, Jared, Stephanie, Lela RUTH, Wayne, Randi, and Zachary.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 19, 2016, at the Sugden Cemetery in Sugden, OK.
