Rueben Mearl Moore

Rueben Mearl Moore, of Comanche, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2002, at the age of seventy-one. He was born December 28, 1930, to Johnnie and Alice Moore in Sentinel, Oklahoma. Mr. Moore was a roofing contractor. He and Faye Hubbard were united in marriage on August 22, 1983, in Terral, Oklahoma.

Survivors include: his wife, Faye, of the home in Comanche; one granddaughter, Angela Hines, also of the home in Comanche; one stepson, Alan Hines, of Comanche, OK; four daughters - Gladys Miller of Ryan, OK, Glenda Kerr of Bowie, TX, Margaret Hardison of Montague, TX, and Alice Gilbert of Belleview, TX; one stepdaughter, Judy Maxson of St. Johns, MI; seven brothers - Claude, David, and Bonnie Bowie, TX, Chester of Stoneburg, TX, Vernon of Petrolia, TX, Wayne and Richard of Wichita Falls, TX; one sister, Naomi Sabado of Stockton, CA; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Alice Moore, one grandson, Randy Gilbert, five brothers - Bill, J.B., Lonnie, Hoyt, and John.

Graveside services were held for Mr. Moore at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 1, 2002, in the Parks Cemetery with Joe Case officiating. Burial was in the Park Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Comanche. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Chisholm Trail Hospice in Duncan, Oklahoma
