Roy Oscar Blackie Webb was born June 18, 1918, in Addington, Oklahoma, to Roy O. and Ina McLemore Webb. He passed from this life Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at the Duncan Regional Hospital at the age of ninety. Blackie and Evelyn Lorene Webb were married in Addington, Oklahoma, November 12, 1939. He retired from Halliburton as a supervisor.

Survivors include: his wife, Evelyn, of the home in Addington, OK; one son, Jimmie Webb and his daughter, Judie of Addington, OK; one brother, Jerry Webb of Houston, TX; three sisters - Jean Snyder, Ella Friend, and Jane Richardson, all of Addington, OK; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Webb will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 11, 2008, at the Addington Baptist Church, with Jeremy Stowe and Jason Ebenhack officiating. Burial will be in the Addington Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with the family receiving visitors from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Webb's memory, to the charity of your choice.
