Royce John Cullar

Royce John Cullar passed from this life May 1, 2017 in Oklahoma City at the age of 78. Royce was born October 9, 1938 in Waurika, OK to Roy and Mildred (Dollar) Cullar.

Royce attended Midwestern State University and then graduated from Wichita Falls Police Academy December 1, 1962. Royce also was a contractor, insurance adjuster and a rural mail carrier for the United States Postal Service.

Royce loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Royce is survived by his children John Cullar and wife Meg, Waco, TX; Rick Cullar and wife Vanda, Wichita Falls, TX; Chad Cullar and wife Michelle, Ft. Worth, TX. One sister, Sue Cullar Richardson and husband David of Snyder, OK.; six grandchildren Joseph, Carter, Chloe, Claire, Connor, and Kaitlyn and special friend Sandra Webb.

Visitation will be Thursday from 9AM-8PM and Friday from 9 to noon. Graveside service will be held at the Waurika Cemetery at 2PM on Friday, May 5, 2017 with Curtis Plant officiating. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Waurika or the Waurika Senior Citizens Center.
