Rosie Lee Lowery
Rosie Lee Lowery was born September 18, 1941 in Cooper, Texas to Bill and Ira Mae Smith Rogers. She passed from this life Monday, July 18, 2011 at Westbrook Nursing Home in Waurika, Oklahoma at the age of sixty-nine. Rosie and William Harold Lowery were united in marriage on February 8, 1959 in Charlie, Texas. He preceded her in death September 10, 2009.
She is survived by her son - David Wayne Lowery of Byers, Texas, daughters - Patricia Ann Kelley of Waurika, Oklahoma, Peggy Jean Roberts of Henrietta, Texas, Janice Marie Lowery of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Shirley Lee Stoneking of Byers, Texas, sister - Katherine Hanson, nine grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents - Bill and Ira Mae Rogers, husband - William Harold Lowery, son - William "Willie" Lowery Jr., brothers - Devon Throneberry and Donnie Throneberry.
Funeral Service for Rosie will be Friday, July 22, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the Assembly of God Church in Byers, Texas with Bro. James Keenum and Rev. Curtis Plant officiating. Burial will be in the Byers Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika, Oklahoma. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 20, 2011 from 10 AM - 6 PM and Thursday, July 21, 2011 from 9 AM - 8 PM with the family receiving visitors from 6 PM - 7 PM. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
