Rosa Flores Palomar


Rosa Flores Palomar, seventy-four, of Waurika, Oklahoma, passed from this life Tuesday, September 4, 2007. She was born March 3, 1933, in Zaragoza, Mexico, to Luis Flores and Guadalupe Olivares. She belonged to the Waurika Catholic Church and had a love for flowers, birds and cooking. She was a loving wife and mother and worked hard all her life.

Survivors include: her husband Jose of the home in Waurika, OK; three sons - Jose Aguilera of Abilene, TX, Tony Aguilera of Marlow, OK, and Jose Palomar, Jr. of Iowa Park, TX; four daughters - Maria Aguilera of Abilene, TX, Rosa Aguilera of Rozwell, NM, Marta Kler of Waurika, OK, and Juanita Quintero of Abilene, TX; seventeen grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Palomar was preceded in death by her parents and one son Fermin Agilera, Jr.

Funeral services for Mrs. Palomar will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 6. 2007, at the First Baptist Church in Waurika with Rev. Curtis Plant officiating. Burial will be in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika. Pallbearers will be James Ivy, Sam Countiss, C.E. Bohot, Brad Scott, Gary Parker, Willie Timberland, and Mike Perry. Visitation will be at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika Wednesday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM.
