Ronald Dewey Walters

Ronald Dewey Walters, 72, passed from this life January 8, 2020. He was born October 29, 1947, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, to Richard Floyd and Kattie B. (Davis) Walters. He worked as a long haul truck driver for almost forty years. He served his country for six years in the United States Army, stationed in Germany and serving in Viet Nam from 1967 to 1973. He loved camping, hunting, and hanging out watching TV.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Richard.

Survivors include: three children—Alex of AL, Kelly of AL, and Charity Kay and her husband David Andrews of GA; siblings—Bill and his wife Vicki Walters of Sugden, OK, Roy and his wife Myra Walters of Selma, AL, Edna Calhoun of Lafayette, IN, Tammy and her husband Christopher Fischer of Cape Coral, FL; and Kerry Walters of MN; grandchildren Sierra, Lex and Addie; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 17, 2020, at the Ft Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, Oklahoma with Sid Bazzrea officiating. Services under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika, Oklahoma.
