Robert Dean Green was born June 4, 1946 in Olney, Texas to Grady Franklin and Ruby Irene Brisco Green. Robert passed from this life Saturday, February 28, 2009 at his home in Waurika. He and Donna Bryant were married February 2, 1983 in Waurika, Oklahoma. Mr. Green was former owner of Green's Manufacturing along with farming and ranching in Waurika, Green's Insurance in Sentinel, Oklahoma returning to Waurika in 1992 and establishing Green's Water Well Drilling and ending his career as a foreman for Tank Builders, Inc. of Euless, Texas. He had many diversified interests. Gardening, fishing, hunting, building, and flying radio controlled airplanes and golf were only a few of these interests. His most treasured times were spent with his children, grandchildren, and extended family. He was a loving and devoted husband to Donna for twenty-six years. He was always ready and willing to help friends and family anytime he was called upon.
He is survived by his wife Donna of the home in Waurika, his mother - Ruby Green of Graham, Texas, four children - Gerald Green and wife Stephanie of Lawton, Oklahoma, Dana Kirkpatrick and husband Darren of Wichita Falls, Texas, Melissa Cox and fiance Dean McDonald of Lawton, Oklahoma and Jennifer Sisk and Scott Brittain of Wichita Falls, Texas, sisters - Patsy Sanchez of Waurika and Helen Grant of Graham, six grandchildren - Paige, Alyssa, Tanner, Bailee, Caitlyn, and Luke.
He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, two sisters - Louise Green and Frankie Green, infant son Danny, and first wife Janice.
Memorial service will be Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 10:00AM at the Addington Baptist Church with Gene Jorgenson officiating. Services are under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. Memorials may be made to the Addington Baptist Church.
