Richard V. Dean
Richard V. Dean, 86, of Puyallup, Washington, passed from this life March 14, 2015, at his home. He was born November 11, 1928, in Waurika, Oklahoma, to G. Boyd and Bertha "Wood" Dean.
He was married to Sharon Dean on February 14, 1992 in Puyallup. His former wives were Mary Duree and Eleanor Murray. He was a Nazarene pastor for forty years in Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. He had a very positive attitude, a love of life and consideration for others. He impacted everyone who knew him
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Merlin Dean and Vernon Dean, and his son Johnny Dean.
Survivors include: his wife Sharon of the home in Puyallup, WA; sons - Randy Shane and his wife Cris of Charlotte, NC, Richard Dean and his wife Connie of Ft. Worth, TX, and Bob Murray and his wife Sheila of Sacramento, CA; daughters - Kathy Hinton of Ft. Worth, TX, Karen and her husband Danny Hinton of Mansfield, TX, and Elizabeth and her husband Steve Kehler of Arlington, WA; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister Irene and her husband Otis Jordan of Brandon, MO.
A memorial service is to be scheduled on a date to be announced in Waurika, Oklahoma. Interment will be in the Waurika Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Puyallup, Washington Church of the Nazarene Primetime Ministry.
