Hullen Ray Turner was born June 3, 1934 in Jefferson County to Finis and Florence Carter Turner. He passed from this life Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at Jefferson County Hospital at the age of seventy-five. Ray graduated from Union Valley High School and attended Frank Phillips Jr. College in Borger, Texas. He served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked in the oil and gas industry until his retirement. Ray and Twila Joyce Allen were married December 6, 1952 in Clayton, New Mexico. He was a member of the Waurika Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife Twila of the home, children - Allen Turner of Medford, Oregon, Mark Turner of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Kim Foraker of Littleton, Colorado, brother - Joe Turner of Ryan, sisters - Milbria Chalenburg of Ryan and Vernell Polk of Bowie, Texas, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Friday, November 27, 2009 at 3:30PM at the Waurika Church of Christ with Noel Curington officiating. Burial will be in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika.
