Raymond Doyle Rochell, 72, of Waurika passed away November 7, 2010 at Jefferson County Hospital. Ray was born March 27, 1938 in Rush Springs, Oklahoma to Robert Daniel and Minnie Elliott Rochell. He worked in maintenance and air conditioning for Pacifica. He was also a welder. He and Barbara Ann Gordon were married November 12, 1956 in Duncan, Oklahoma.

He is survived by his wife Barbara of the home in Waurika, children - Barbara J. Randell and husband Jimmy L. of Duncan, Raymond W. Rochell of Waurika, Doyle G. Rochell of Waurika, Sherry A. Rochell of Richardson, Texas, and Jess D. Rochell and wife Candy L. of Gainesville, Texas, brothers - Robert W. Rochell and wife Wilma of Duncan, Jimmy Soapes of California, and Tommy Soapes of Marlow, sisters - Doris A. Clayton of Chickasha and Kaye Wilson of Marlow, twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers - Arlton (Jim) Rochell, David W. Rochell, Billy Wayne Soapes, and Gerry Soapes.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at 2:00PM at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika with William Moore officiating. Visitation will be from 10AM-8PM on Tuesday and 9AM-until service time on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Waurika Ambulance Service.
