Ralph Jerry Wood was born October 23, 1927 in Fox, Oklahoma to William Elsworth and Minnie Lena Klenburg Wood. He passed from this life Wednesday, July 28, 2010 in Duncan, Oklahoma at the age of eighty-two. Ralph and Mildred Louise Watson were married in 1949. She preceded him in death in 1981. He married Jessie Stewart Schabram April 8, 1982. She preceded him in death on September 26, 2009. Ralph was a member of the Moose Lodge in Abilene, Texas and a member of the Assembly of God Church in Waurika. He was owner and operator of Wood Floor Covering for twenty-eight years. He retired from business in 1995.

He is survived by: his son in law - Buddy Goodin, one stepson - Dennis Schabram , brother - Bill Wood, sisters - Georgia Sneed, Ruby Hanna, and Bea Tomlinson, two grandchildren - Ulanda Robinson and Johnny Wood, two step grandchildren -John Schabram and Trish Schabram and six great grandchildren - Krystallyne, Kamia, and Kendria Robinson, Taylor Wood, Alexis Schabram, Nikki Joice. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife - Mildred, wife - Jessie, and daughter - Jerrie Goodin and stepson Charles Schabram.

Funeral service will be Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 10:30 AM at the Assembly of God Church in Waurika with Rev. John Newland and Rev. Carl Sterling officiating. Burial will be in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. Viewing will be Friday from noon - 8 PM at the funeral home.
