Rachel Whitlock, ninety-three, of Comanche, Oklahoma, passed from this life Sunday, May 8, 2005, in the Duncan Regional Hospital. She was born July 15, 1911, in Duncan, Oklahoma, to Jim and Mattie Riddles. Her days were spent quilting, gardening, canning and reading her Bible - and don't forget an occasional shopping spree - but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
She was a wonderful mother, the greatest Grandma and Mema to all her grandchildren. No matter how long her day was, she always made time for each and every one of her family members. She always had coffee going and would sit for hours at the kitchen table, visiting with you. She went the extra mile for all of her family.
She was a member of the Ray of Hope Church. She loved Lord and going to church.
Survivors include: two sons - Rex Whitlock and Grady McCord, both of Comanche, OK; two daughers - Evelyn Beck and Wyva McEntire, both of Comanche, OK; a brother - R.B. Riddles of Marlow, OK; a sister - Ann Barnett of Comanche, OK; twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and eleven great-great-grandchildren.
