Price Merle Harvill

Price Merle Harvill passed away at the age of seventy-five at his home in Comanche, Oklahoma, on January 16, 2003. He was born to Frank and Minnie Lee Berry Harvill on May 15, 1927, in Addington, Oklahoma. He was a Navy veteran and an oilfield pumper for several oil companies around the Stephens county area of Oklahoma.

Price and Elisabeth Hix were married December 9, 1963, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Survivors include: his wife Elisabeth of the home in Comanche, OK; two sons - James Price Tucker of Wichita, KS, and Raymond Tucker of Comanche, OK; one step-daughter, Anneliese Smith of Comanche, OK; two sisters - Juanita Stanley of Hillis, OK, and Maxine Greene of Tulsa, OK; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers - Paul, J.T., and Clyde; and two sisters - Opal Johnston and Hazel Morgan.

Funeral services for Mr. Harvill were at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 20, 2003, at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Comanche with Dow Pannell officiating. Burial was in the Addington Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Comanche. Pallbearers were Wayne Taylor, Wayne Thompson, Harvey Garrett, J.D. Keenan, Jimmie Gray, Rickey Morgan, Larry McCartney, Clyde Graham, and Lloyd Romine. Honorary pallbearers were Jim Howard, Phil Caudill, Randy Turner, Larry Capers, Bob Miller, and Charles Brown.
