Wilburn Sherman Pete Duncan was born March 8, 1921, in Fleetwood, Oklahoma to Jesse Henry and Minnie Lee Henderson Duncan. Pete passed from this life Thursday, February 22, 2007, at Westbrook Nursing Home in Waurika, Oklahoma, at the age of eighty-five. Pete was a farmer until his retirement. He was also a member of the Church of Christ.

Pete was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include: three brothers - O.L. Duncan of Wheeler, TX, Leland Duncan of Lawton, OK, and David Duncan of Waurika, OK; and two sisters - Faye Gibson of Wylie, TX, and Frances Huddleston of Wichita Falls, TX.

Graveside services for Mr. Duncan were at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 24, 2007, at the Terral Cemetery with Rev. Curtis Plant officiating. Burial was under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika. Visitation was Friday, February 23, 2007, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
