C. D. Pat Webb was born July 26, 1931, in Addington, Oklahoma, to Roy O. and Ina A. Webb. Pat passed from this life Thursday, January 26, 2006, in Waurika, Oklahoma, at the age of seventy-four.
Pat worked for Sun Oil Company and Tosco Refinery. He later worked for E&W Construction. He and Pat Sisk Sumner were married April 26, 1997, in Marlow, Oklahoma. Pat was the mayor of Addington, Oklahoma, a member of the Comanche Masonic Lodge #41, an ASCOG Board Member, a member of the Volunteer Fire Department, Comanche School Board Member, and a member of the Addington Baptist Church. He wrote the grant for the Addington Community Center and then helped build it.
Survivors include: his wife Pat, of the home in Addington, OK; three daughters - Dawn and her husband Kent Hoskins of Linden, TX, Kelly and her husband Craig of Comanche, OK, and Patti and her husband Harold Kaspereit of Duncan, OK; one step-daughter - Melisa and her husband James Pass of Ryan, OK; two step-sons - Zack Sumner of Addington, OK, and Jeremy and his wife Tammy Sumner of Durant, OK; four sisters - Jean Snyder, Mary Glenn, Ella Friend, and Janie Richardson, all of Addington, OK; two brothers - Blackie Webb of Addington, OK, and Jerry Webb of Sugarland, TX; the mother of his children - Sandra Webb of Addington, OK; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerouse nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Sue Loyd.
Funeral services for Mr. Webb were at 10:30 AM, January 31, 2006, at the Addington Baptist Church with Rev. Aaron Summers officiating. Burial was under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Addington Baptist Church Youth Program.
