Lena Pansy (Cottrell) Rich

Lena Pansy (Cottrell) Rich, 91, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed from this life October 19, 2019. She was born December 11, 1927, in Terral, Oklahoma, to J. Monroe and Maudie (Bartram) Cottrell. She enjoyed being a nurse, was especially wonderful with the elderly. She always made them feel so special. She loved collecting dolls, fishing and hunting rose rocks with Pete. She was a member of the Hastings Baptist Church. She loved life and lived it to the fullest.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Kenneth Smith, Pete Rich, Hazel Besherse, and Homer Antrim, one son Dennis Smith, two sisters, and five brothers.

Survivors include: her children—Tim Smith and his wife Donna of Grady, OK, and Melissa Smith and her husband Jason of Comanche, OK, one brother Jack Cottrell of California, five grandchildren—Joshua, Jacob, Mackie, Jennifer and Cameron; six great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren with one on the way.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at the Grady Cemetery in Grady, Oklahoma with Mark Kunkel officiating. Services are under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika.
