Ozema B. Beaver was born July 5, 1922, in Montague County, Texas, to William Alfred and Rosa Myrtle Golden Burris. She passed from this life Friday, July 8, 2005, at the United Regional Hospital in Wichita Falls, Texas, at the age of eighty-three. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ in Waurika,Oklahoma. Ozema and Herschel A. were married October 5, 1940, in Waurika, Oklahoma.

Survivors include: her husband of sixty-four years, Herschel, of the home in Waurika, OK; two sons - Darrell and his wife Carolyn of Waurika, OK, and Danny and his wife Sharon of Tyler, TX; one daughter - Delores D.J. and her husband Henry Jenkins of Waurika, OK; three sisters - Lovel Ashworth of Decatur, TX, Nevella Echols of Garland, TX, and Jewell and her husband T.H. Dennard of Waurika, OK; and four grandchildren - Darren Beaver, Jason Beaver and his wife Sarah, Cindy Jouett and her husband David, and Bruce Beaver and his wife Katy; one great-grandchild - Brittany Beaver; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services for Mrs. Beaver will be at 2:00 PM, Monday, July 11, 2005, at the Church of Christ in Waurika with Noel Curington officiating. Burial will be in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika. Visitation will be Sunday, July 10, 2005, at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. The family will receive visitors from 3:30 to 5:00 PM on Sunday.
