Orville Lee White passed from this life on Sunday, May 12, 2002, in the Jefferson County Hospital at the age of 72. He was born July 29, 1930, to Athel Mitchel and Seleta Mae White, in Ryan, Oklahoma. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: one brother - E.C. White, of Conroe, TX; three sisters - Helen Henry and Hazel of Houston, TX; and Mary Benson of Henrietta, TX.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ethel Mitchell and Seleta Mae White and two brothers, Clarence and Charles White.

Graveside services for Mr. White were held at 2:30 PM, Tuesday, May 14, 2002, in the Ryan Cemetery with Clarence Mize officiating. Burial was under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Ryan.
