Ollie Good
Ollie Good was born June 25, 1931 in Ryan, Oklahoma to George R. and Deva Pearl Turner Thurman. She passed from this life Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Westbrook Nursing Home surrounded by family.
Ollie was a seamstress for Haggar Slacks, Inc, worked as a waitress, homemaker, and at Eck Drug until finally retiring at the age of 75. She married Jay Good December 19, 1964 in Waurika, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 1981. Ollie was a faithful member of the Waurika Church of Christ.
She is survived by her children - Jeanie James and husband Larry of Waurika, Oklahoma, Hope Good of Austin, Texas, Randy Mark Good and wife Elaine of Whitsboro, Texas, Jimmie Seay of Waurika, Oklahoma and Tim Good and wife Teresa of Ryan, Oklahoma, 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild expected to arrive in August.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, son - Ricky Good, three brothers - Clarence, Wayne, and Milburn Thurman, and twin sister - Ollen James.
Funeral service will be Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 2:00PM at the Waurika Church of Christ with Noel Curington and David Wingfield officitating. Burial will be in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. Visitation will be Friday evening until 8PM and Saturday from 9- until noon. Memorials may be made to the Waurika Church of Christ or the Alzheimers Association.
