Oberia Pearl Crow Elliott

Oberia Pearl Crow Elliott was born April 7, 1932 in Terral, Oklahoma to John Howard and Winnie Pearl (Davis) Crow. She passed from this life Tuesday, September 10, 2013 in Waurika at the age of 81.
She graduated from Terral High School and then attended Draughn's Business School. She and William Bill Elliott were married in January 12, 1949 in Nocona. and they made their home in Ryan until moving to Sugden in 1978 and then to Waurika in 1980. He preceded her in death August 9, 2004. She was a resident of Jefferson County all of her life. She was a Methodist being a member of both the Ryan and Waurika churches during her life. She was a member of the Eastern Star. She worked for the cleaners in Ryan and for Levi in Wichita Falls for several years but her true passion was being a dog groomer. She started working for Jefferson County Animal Hospital and after retiring groomed dogs in her home. In the later years she could only groom the smaller dogs but she still enjoyed it until she no longer could.
She is survived by: son - Larry Lee Elliott and wife Sheila, stepson - Joe Don Parker, brother - Arnold Crow, grandchildren - Tamara Sloan, Lanesha Slaughter, Megan Parker, and Marshal Parker, great grandchildren - Ethan Morris, Braden Sloan, and McKenna Sloan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband -Bill, brother - J.T. Crow, and sister - Myrtle Lee Eichor.
Funeral Service will be Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 11:00AM at the United Methodist Church in Waurika with Rev. Karen Slater officiating. Burial will be in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. Visitation will be Wednesday from noon-8PM at Dudley funeral home in Waurika. Memorial contributions may be made to United Methodist Church in Waurika.
