Norma K. Cookie Moore was born June 23, 1924, in Marshall, Missouri, to Edward G. and Birdie F. Clark Cook. Cookie passed from this life Monday, February 28, 2005, in Duncan, Oklahoma, at the age of eighty. She and Arnold Lee Moore were married July 12, 1944, in Fresno, California. She was an office nurse for Dr. Tom Forrestall for seventeen years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Comanche and the Comanche and Duncan Senior Citizens groups.

Survivors include: two sons - Ronny and his wife Alice J. Moore of Loco, OK, Danny and his wife Alice K. Moore, of Comanche, OK; two grandsons - Christopher S. Moore of Comanche, OK, and Ronson L. Moore and his wife Laura of Velma, OK; one granddaughter - Tena D. Moore of Loco, OK; one great-granddaughter - Rebecca Moore of Loco, OK; and one great-grandson - Jordan Moore of Velma, OK.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and four brothers and sisters.

Funeral services for Mrs. Moore were at 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 3, 2005, at the First Baptist Church in Comanche with Randy Southerland officiating. Burial was in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Comanche.
