Nina Ruth Fulton was born March 7, 1925 in Hastings, Oklahoma to Jesse William and Helen (Snyder) Freeman. She passed from this life February 28, 2009 at Cedar Crest Manor in Lawton at the age of eighty-three. She was a choir director for the Waurika Methodist Church and Hastings Baptist Church and also a music teacher. She and Rayford Charles Fulton were married September 25, 1943 in Hastings, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Hastings Baptist Church, Hastings Ferguson Club and Hastings Needlecraft Club.
She is survived by three daughters - Sharon McGarr and husband Bobby of Comanche, Shirley Finley and husband Jim of Velma, and Sandra Brown and husband Dennie of Hastings, nine grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Norman L. Freeman and one son.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at 2:00PM at the Hastings Baptist Church with Brian Brown officiating. Burial will be at the Hastings Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9AM-8PM with family receiving visitors from 5:30-7PM. Memorials may be made to the Hastings Cemetery.
