Naman Mendoza

Naman Mendoza, 71, passed from this life October 6, 2018. He was born May 15, 1947, in Las Cruces, New Mexico to Felix and San Juana (Herrera) Mendoza. He worked in the farming industry as a harvester. He married Barbara Perry November 9, 1979, in Ryan, Oklahoma. He was a member of Faith Fellowship in Waurika. He was a member of the Pecan Growers Association. He was an inventor/innovator and enjoyed crafting walking canes. He loved spending time working with his huge collection of antique bottles, vases, other glass and other old things that he found for which he won many ribbons displaying them at the Jefferson County Fair.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Abe Sr. and Sam Mendoza.
Survivors include: his wife Barbara, of the home in Waurika, OK; his daughter Rebekah and her husband Paul Houston of Denver, CO; his brothers Alonzo Mendoza of Levelland, TX, and Felix Mendoza of Temple, TX; his sisters Amalia Medina of Levelland, TX, Lydia Sainz of Lubbock, TX, Norma Mendoza of Levelland, TX, and Ruth Alexander of Buffalo Springs Lake - Lubbock, TX; and a very special couple Becky and John Wood of Duncan, OK.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at the Sugden, Oklahoma Cemetery with Lynn Plant and Mike Bates officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika.
