Milton Lee Hoot Miller of Ryan, Oklahoma, passed from this life Monday, November 4, 2002, in Oklahoma City at the age of sixty-five. He was born March 26, 1937, to Lee and Lena Miller in Ryan, Oklahoma. Mr. Miller was a pipeline welder for twenty years and for the last sixteen years he and his wife worked in the concession business. He and Eva Robnett were united in marriage on March 4, 1955. Hoot was a member of the Ryan Church of Christ and was baptized by David Baker on April 20, 1992. He was known and loved for his unique sense of humor.

Survivors include: his wife, Eva Miller, of the home in Ryan; two sons - Frank Miller and Connie of Duncan, OK, and Ronnie Miller of Ryan, OK; two daughters - Joni Patterson and Wayne of Keller, TX, and Jennifer Burchfield and Rocky of Fairview, OK; one step-sister, Billie Young of Rogers, AR; ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and one step-grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Lena Miller.

Funeral services for Mr. Miller were at 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 7, 2002, at the Ryan Church of Christ with Noel Curington officiating. Burial was in the Terral Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Ryan. Pallbearers were the grandchildren.
