Mildred. L. Cullar, ninety-two, was born August 22, 1911, in Marville, Arkansas, and passed from this life on Tuesday, September 30, 2003, in the Jefferson County Hospital. Her parents were John and Ina Dollar of Waurika, Oklahoma. She attended school in Waurika and Irving, Oklahoma. Mildred and Roy Cullar were united in marriage on January 17, 1934, in Waurika, Oklahoma. Mildred owned and operated a beauty salon in Waurika for many years.
Survivors include: one son - Royce Cullar of Waurika, OK; one daughter - Sue and her husband David Richardson of Snyder, OK; one sister-in-law - Bessie Golden of Waurika, OK; two granddaughters - Ginger Richardson of Lawton, OK, and Mendy and her husband Stacy Warner of Texarkana, AR; three grandsons - John Culler and his wife Meg of Waco, TX, Rick Culler and his wife Kym of Wichita Falls, TX, and Chad Cullar of Ft Worth, TX; and six grandchildren - Chole, Claire and Conner Cullar, Joseph and Carter Cullar, and Paxton Richardson.
Funeral services for Mrs. Cullar were at 3:00 PM, Friday, October 3, 2003, at the First Christian Church in Waurika, Oklahoma, with Curtis Plant officiating. Burial was in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika.
