Mickey Lynn McGuire passed from this life Monday, February 3, 2003, in the Jefferson County Hospital, at the age of fifty-two. He was born October 28, 1950, to James Edward and Bonnie Maurice McGuire in Abilene, Texas. Mr. McGuire was a mechanical engineer and machinist for M&T Construction. He and Jackie Leigh Wilkerson were united in marriage on May 25, 1999, in Pampa, Texas. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include: his wife, Jackie, of the home in Waurika, OK; his father, James Edward McGuire of Houston, TX; one daughter, Misty Dawn McGuire of Houston, TX; one step-daughter Sherry Ann Campbell of Waurika, OK, one step-son Joshua Allen Campbell of Pauls Valley, OK; one brother James M. McGuire of Houston, TX; and two sisters - Ruth McGuire of Houston, TX, and Jackie McGuire of Houston, TX.

He is preceded in death by his mother.

Funeral services for Mr. McGuire were at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, February 5, 2003, in the Elgin Cemetery with James Miller officiating. Burial was in the Elgin Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika.
