Michael Lee Craven
Michael Lee Craven was born November 7, 1953 in Salina, Kansas, to Roger and Onda (Bassett) Craven. He passed from this life Saturday, December 20, 2014 in Waurika, Oklahoma at the age of 61.
Mike was a 1972 graduate of Burkburnett High School. He and Carol Ann Lowe were married August, 17, 1974 in Waurika. He was a mail carrier for over 35 years in Waurika and Hastings. He was a member of the Irving Baptist Church and the Postal Union.
He is survived by his wife - Carol of the home, his mother -Onda of Springfield, Missouri, daughter Leann Bacon and husband Craig of Tulsa, grandchildren - Carmen Craven and Lillian Bacon, siblings - Christy Collins and husband Charlie of Willard, Missouri and Tim Craven of Springfield, Missouri, 3 nieces and 1 nephew.
He was preceded in death by his son - Rodney, his father - Roger, and sister - Terri Carpenter.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 11:00AM at the First United Methodist Church in Waurika with Rev. Mike Bates and Rev. Karen Slater officiating. Burial will be in the Waurika Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, December 22, 2014 from 1-8PM with family receiving visitors from 6-7PM at Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. Memorials may be made to the Waurika Volunteer Fire Department.
