Merle Ann Tigrett was born July 7, 1938, in Esbon, Kansas, to James Alfred and Merle Francis Baldwin. She passed from this life Monday, April 17, 2006, at the Duncan Regional Hospital at the age of sixty-seven. She managed the Waurika Motel for many years and was managing the Comanche Motel at the time of her death.

Survivors include: three daughters – Brenda Rogers and husband Brad of Wichita Falls, TX, Debbie Davis and her husband Ken of Niceville, FL, and De’Nese Christenson of Niceville, FL; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister - Eva Darlene Woodward of Crosstimbers, MO.

She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Tigrett and one daughter - Diana Polhemus.
