Melba Deann (Gunter) Croxton

Melba Deann (Gunter) Croxton, 67, passed from this life Sunday, February 14, 2016, at her home in Terral, Oklahoma. She was born October 16, 1948, in Bowie, Texas, to Melvin and Helen (Craft) Gunter. She married James Elvin Croxton on June 22, 1973, in Bowie, Texas. She was an office manager for the Terral Independent School District. She was a life-long resident of Terral, Oklahoma and was a member of the Terral Assembly of God Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband James, her father Melvin, and one son Jamie Croxton.

Survivors include: her mother Helen; her children - Randy Croxton and his wife Dayna, Laci and her husband Bryan Loyd, Cheyenne and her husband Mike Cason; brothers Mike Gunter and his wife Mona, and Steve Gunter; and grandchildren - Bryson Loyd, Colt Cason, Josey Cason, Elliott Cason, and Jesse Croxton.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 16, at the Terral Assembly of God with Bro. Parker officiating. Burial will follow in the Ringgold Cemetery in Ringgold, TX. Pallbearers will be  Gary Morrison, Larry Morrison, David Morrison, Avery Linton, Randy Harris, and Bobby Keith. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM with the family receiving visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
