Ralph Max Faulkner was born January 25, 1928, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to Fred and Nola Faulkner. He passed from this life in Waurika, Oklahoma July 13, 2007. Max was a World War II veteran who retired from Civil Service at Ft Sill in 1968. He married Doris Riley May18, 1946. She preceded him in death March 5, 2002. Max was a Master Mason and a member of the Madill Masonic Lodge. He was a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris, his son Ralph, who died December 25, 2002, his parents, three brothers - Billy, Allen, and Cecil, and a grandson - Mike.

Survivors include: a daughter Maxine Faxon; two brothers - Doug and Tex; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Burial was in the Pecan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika. There were no services.
